NOTE: The portion of interstate I-95 that approaches Brunswick was renamed to I-295 in January 2004. Many road maps will still show it as I-95. Exit 22 has been renumbered to Exit 28 as well.
Coming
from the South (Brunswick, Freeport, Yarmouth, Portland):
- Take
Exit 28 (Brunswick) off I-295 North (formerly I-95 Exit 22). This will put you
on Pleasant Street-Route 1.
- Follow
signs for “U.S. Route 1—Bath.” (This will involve a left
turn at laundromat. )
- Take
the Cook’s Corner exit off Route 1. Get in the left lane,
and at the traffic light, turn left onto Bath Road.
- Medical
Center Drive is one mile down Bath Road. Look for the
Mid Coast Hospital sign and turn right.
Coming
from the North (Bath, Woolwich, Wiscasset, Damariscotta):

Follow U.S. Route 1 across the Sagadahoc Bridge into Bath.
Continue south.
- Take
New Meadows Road Exit. Turn left at the end of the exit
ramp. Proceed to stop sign at State Road. Turn Right.
- Medical
Center Drive is 1.7 miles on your left. Turn left at the
large Mid Coast Hospital sign.
Coming
from the West (Topsham, Lisbon Falls):
- Follow
Rte. 196 to the Coastal Connector. Stay in the left lane
to Bath, U.S. Route 1.
- Take
the Cook’s Corner exit off Route 1. Get in the left lane,
and at the traffic light, turn left onto Bath Road.
- Medical
Center Drive is one mile down Bath Road. Look for the
Mid Coast Hospital sign and turn right.
Entering
our campus, the Medical Office Building (including doctors'
offices, cardiac and pulmonary rehab, and the Medical Center
Pharmacy) is the first left turn as you approach the hospital.
