For more information about breast cancer, Mid
Coast Hospital’s Breast Health Center also has a dedicated

Mid Coast Hospital offers the following cancer
support groups:
A support group for cancer patients, family,
and friends. This group meets on the first Monday of every month
from 7:00–8:30 p.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, in
Brunswick. The group is co-sponsored by the American Cancer Society.
This support group is for women whose lives are affected by breast cancer,
who seek to share and receive educational information and emotional support.
The group meets on the second Monday of every month from 7:00–8:30 p.m.
at Mid Coast Hospital’s Healthline education center.
This group, for men with prostate cancer, meets
on the third Wednesday of every month from 6:30–8:30 p.m. at
Mid Coast Hospital’s Medical Office Building. Contact Michael

This group is offered
to women who have recurrent or advanced breast
cancer. Friends, family, and supporters are welcome. A registered
nurse and social worker are available to the group as resources.
They meet on the second Tuesday of each month from 3:00–5:00
p.m. at Mid Coat Hospital.
