Mid Coast Hospital also co-sponsors the American Cancer Society's Cancer Resource Center at the Mid Coast Cancer Care Center at 81 Medical Center Drive . It is co-located with the Maine Center for Cancer Medicine in Suite 1300 .

This support group, offered by CHANS Home Health Care’s Hospice and Volunteer Program, is an anticipatory grief support group for individuals and families facing a life-threatening illness or other losses (and not just cancer). The group is broken into age appropriate groups as well as a section for those who are caregivers and those who are facing a life threatening illness. This program is free, and all individuals and families are welcome, however a pre-attendance interview is required. This group, for men with prostate cancer, meets the third Tuesday of every month from 6:30–8:30 p.m. at Mid Coast Hospital's Medical Office Building . Contact Michael Todd at 373-6065.
This group is offered for women with any type of cancer. Friends, family, and supporters are welcome. The group meets on the second Tuesday of each month from 3:00–4:00 p.m. at Mid Coat Hospital. Contact Kim Lynch at 373-6546.
