This independent, not-for-profit group accredits and certifies more than 15,000 health care organizations in the U.S. and its seal of approval is recognized nationwide as a symbol of quality.

Our hospital is committed to meeting the Joint Commission’s established performance standards. Accreditation helps our patient care team continually improve its performance and demonstrate accountability in the rapidly changing healthcare field.

Additional Accreditations

Mid Coast Hospital’s diagnostic services are accredited by the American College of Radiology. Laboratory services are accredited by the College of American Pathologists and the American Association of Blood Banks.
